Ducks 7, Canucks 3: Teemu Selanne scored twice and added two assists and Daniel Winnik also had a pair of goals as visiting Anaheim scored five straight goals to cruise past Vancouver.

Corey Perry, Sheldon Souray and Kyle Palmieri added goals for the Ducks, who dominated from start to finish as they look to bounce back after missing the postseason a year ago. Andrew Cogliano, Ryan Getzlaf and Saku Koivu each added a pair of assists.

Dan Hamhuis and Daniel Sedin scored first-period goals while Alex Edler added a third-period tally for the Canucks, who fell flat in their home debut. Cory Schneider was pulled in the second period after allowing five goals in his first game as Vancouver's undisputed No. 1 netminder.

Following Winnik's first goal in an Anaheim uniform on a tip-in from in close at 6:31, the Canucks responded with goals by Hamhuis and Sedin 90 seconds apart near the midway point of the period. Souray answered on an Anaheim power play with 4:37 remaining, blasting a slap shot past Schneider.

Winnik restored the Ducks' lead early in the second period, finishing off a three-way pass play with Koivu and Cogliano by floating a wrist shot past a bewildered Schneider. Perry doubled the advantage on a power play at 6:26 and Palmieri padded the lead just 11 seconds later, chasing Schneider from the net and effectively putting the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK:Roberto Luongo, who was rumored to be headed out of Vancouver for most of the offseason, was greeted by a mix of boos and cheers as he relieved Schneider. ... Selanne's second-period goal was the 249th power-play tally of his career, good for third on the all-time list. The four points represented his best offensive output since a five-point night March 28, 2011 against Colorado. ... Jonas Hiller stopped 26 shots in the win.
