Viktor Stalberg and Dave Bolland scored a minute apart early in the second period as the Chicago Blackhawks used a four-goal outburst in the session to erase a deficit and post a 5-3 road triumph over the St. Louis Blues on Monday afternoon.

All-Stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews each had a goal and an assist, Marian Hossa scored an empty-netter and rookie Corey Crawford made 31 saves for the Blackhawks, who have won three of four games overall and improved to 2-0-2 in their last four on the road.

Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo had a goal and an assist, Andy McDonald and Brad Boyes scored and Patrik Berglund extended his point streak to six games with two assists for the Blues, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

With Chicago trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes, Stalberg beat Ben Bishop with a backhander at 2:18 of the second and Bolland converted a cross-slot pass from Marian Hossa 60 seconds later to forge a tie. Kane banked a shot from the right faceoff circle off the left post and in at 6:29 for his sixth goal in eight games and a 3-2 Chicago edge.

Toews doubled the lead during a power play with 7:20 remaining in the period, ending his seven-game goalless drought and chasing Bishop, who yielded four goals on 18 shots.
