Colts 44, Jaguars 17: Andrew Luck threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns in the first half and finished with marks of 370 yards and four scores as visiting Indianapolis notched its first victory in decisive fashion.

The Colts (1-2) continued their recent mastery of the Jaguars (0-3) thanks in large part to a dominant first-half effort that resulted in a 30-0 lead at intermission. Luck finished 31-of-39 and matched his season high for passing yardage while throwing scoring strikes to Ahmad Bradshaw, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and Hakeem Nicks.

Following another underwhelming performance by Chad Henne, Jacksonville turned to rookie Blake Bortles in the second half, and the No. 3 overall pick went 14-of-24 for 223 yards with a pair of interceptions. He also threw his first two career touchdown passes - a 63-yarder to fellow rookie Allen Hurns with under seven minutes to play and a 10-yard toss to Cecil Shorts III in the final minute.

The Colts outgained the Jaguars 330-55 in the first half and scored on all six of their possessions in the opening 30 minutes. A 48-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri gave Indianapolis an early lead before Luck found Bradshaw for a 6-yard score late in the opening quarter.

Luck threw two more touchdowns in the second quarter - a 1-yard hookup with Allen and a 7-yard strike to Fleener - sandwiched around two more field goals by Vinatieri. The Colts tacked on two additional touchdowns in the fourth on Luck's 1-yard toss to Nicks and Greg Toler's 47-yard interception return to put the exclamation point on the victory.
