Redskins 31, Ravens 28 (OT):
Kai Forbath kicked a 34-yard field goal 3:23 into overtime to lift host Washington over Baltimore in the beltway battle.

Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III injured his right knee in the final minute of regulation but Kirk Cousins came in to finish off the tying touchdown drive. Richard Crawford returned a punt 64 yards in overtime to set up Forbath’s winning kick for Washington (7-6), which remained one game back of the New York Giants for first place in the NFC East.

Griffin drove the Redskins into Baltimore territory on the final drive of regulation but suffered a right knee sprain and had to be replaced by Cousins with 45 seconds left. Cousins did his best Griffin impression on the touchdown sequence that tied the game - scrambling to his right and throwing on the run to Pierre Garcon for the touchdown, then rushing up the middle for the two-point conversion to knot it at 28-28 with 29 seconds left.

Joe Flacco went 16-of-21 for 182 yards and three touchdowns, Anquan Boldin made three catches for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Ray Rice rushed for 121 yards and a score for the Ravens (9-4), who maintained their two-game lead in the AFC North but dropped a game behind Denver in the battle for a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Flacco threw a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter to give Baltimore a 21-14 lead at the break. Forbath connected from 48 and 49 yards in the third quarter to pull it to within 21-20 before Rice’s 7-yard TD burst made it 28-20 with 4:52 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Redskins announced Sunday night that an MRI exam of Griffin's knee revealed that "everything is clear" and showed no serious ligament damage. ... The Ravens were without both LB Terrell Suggs (biceps) and LB Ray Lewis (triceps) in the same game for the first time since Suggs was drafted in 2003. LB Dannell Ellerbe (ankle), who had been starting in place of Lewis, was also out. … Griffin went 15-of-26 for 246 yards and a touchdown and ran for 34 yards on seven carries. … Redskins rookie RB Alfred Morris rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.
