Matt Moore matched a career high with three touchdown passes - including a pair to tight end Anthony Fasano - as the Miami Dolphins posted their first win of the season with a 31-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The Dolphins (1-7) took a lead into the fourth quarter for the third straight week, but won this time as they improved to 10-5 in November under coach Tony Sparano.

Fasano also matched a career high – his other two-touchdown contest came in Kansas City when Miami won the last meeting 38-31 in 2008. The Dolphins have won seven of their last nine against the Chiefs.

Moore’s 14-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall in the third quarter gave the Dolphins a 21-3 lead on the ensuing drive after the Chiefs botched a fake field goal.

Reggie Bush added a 28-yard touchdown run later in the third to make it 28-3. He had 142 total yards - with 92 coming off rushes.

Moore finished 17 of 23 for 244 yards in his best game since replacing the injured Chad Henne five games ago.

Matt Cassel was 20 of 39 for 253 yards as Kansas City (4-4) had its four-game winning streak snapped. The Chiefs fell to 9-3 at home since the start of 2010.

The Dolphins had lost 10 straight since a 10-6 victory at the New York Jets in Week 14 last season.

Marshall has seven touchdown catches in his last five games against the Chiefs, the previous six while with Denver.

Indianapolis (0-9) is the only remaining winless team in the NFL.
