Michael Turner ran for a pair of touchdowns and Julio Jones had 11 catches for 127 yards as the Atlanta Falcons held on for a 30-28 triumph over the host Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, their first win in three tries on the road this season.

Turner, who gained 70 yards on 26 carries, found the end zone twice in the first half as Atlanta (2-2) built a 24-7 lead.

Matt Bryant booted the second of his three field goals early in the third quarter to increase the advantage before Seattle used a second-half surge to get within 30-28.

The Seahawks were unable to complete the comeback, however, as Steven Hauschka's 61-yard field goal attempt with 13 seconds to play was short, giving Atlanta its third straight win in the all-time series.

Tarvaris Jackson led the comeback attempt by Seattle (1-3) with a 6-yard scoring strike to Mike Williams with 10 minutes left in the third and an 8-yard TD pass to Ben Obomanu with 8:20 remaining in the fourth.

Jackson, who connected with Sidney Rice on a 52-yard scoring play in the second quarter, was 25 of 38 for 319 yards with two interceptions.

Matt Ryan completed 28 of 42 passes for 291 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons' offensive line helped keep Ryan off the ground after the young quarterback was sacked 13 times over the first three games of the year.

Marshawn Lynch had eight rushes for only 24 yards for the Seahawks, who scored a total of 30 points over their first three contests. The running back gained nearly half of those yards on a scoring run one play after Leon Washington ran back a punt 33 yards to the Falcons 11, drawing Seattle within two.

Atlanta tight end Tony Gonzalez had seven catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Gonzalez, who has 1,090 career receptions, is 13 away from passing Marvin Harrison for second place on the all-time list.
