Jaguars 21, Titans 13: Blake Bortles threw for a touchdown and Jordan Todman ran for a 62-yard score in the fourth quarter to lift host Jacksonville in a matchup of AFC South also-rans.

Bortles, who suffered a foot injury in Sunday's loss at Baltimore, completed 13-of-26 passes for a season-low 115 yards and ran for 50 more as the Jaguars (3-12) won for the second time in four games following a 1-10 start. Toby Gerhart also had a TD run for Jacksonville, which had a 177-95 advantage on the ground.

Charlie Whitehurst was 24-for-35 for 287 yards in a turnover-free effort as Tennessee (2-13) extended the franchise's longest losing streak since 1994 to nine games. Leon Washington had a game-high seven catches for 62 yards and a TD for the Titans, who had a last-gasp effort fall short in Jaguars territory.

Whitehurst was 6-for-6 on the opening drive and capped it with an 8-yard scoring strike over the middle to Washington, and Ryan Succop's 50-yard field goal made it 10-0 late in the first half. Bortles hit Mercedes Lewis from 4 yards out in the final minute to pull the hosts within 10-7 at halftime and a defensive holding penalty kept alive a Jacksonville drive early in the third before Gerhart took advantage with a plunge in from a yard out

Whitehurst's completion on a fourth-down attempt in Jaguars territory was short of the first down with less than 10 minutes remaining and Todman broke free on the very next play for the longest Jacksonville run since 2010 and a 21-10 lead. Tennessee answered with a short field goal with 6:06 left and got to the Jaguars 35 in the closing seconds before ex-Titan Sen'Derrick Marks sacked Whitehurst on the final play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts III had a 9-yard completion to Todman four plays before Gerhart's TD. ... Bortles was sacked four times as Jacksonville has allowed a franchise-record 66 on the season. ... Tennessee, which entered the game 31st in the NFL in time of possession, held the ball for nearly 35 minutes.
