LINCOLN, Neb. -Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. threw for 200 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 34-yard run to lift the Cornhuskers to a 35-32 win over No. 22 Oregon Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

Armstrong was 17-for-33 for 200 yards and three scores while running 16 times for 95 yards and a touchdown.

After Oregon took a 32-28 lead in the fourth quarter, Armstrong completed a fourth-and-9 pass to Jordan Westerkamp and then ran into the end zone from 34 yards out with 2:29 left in the game.

Quarterback Dakota Prukop threw for 146 yards and ran for 94 for the Ducks. Oregon lost all-conference running back Royce Freeman with an injury in the first quarter, but running back Kani Benoit rushed for 100 yards and running back Tony Brooks-James ran for three touchdowns.

Nebraska scored in the final seconds of the first half to get within 20-14 at halftime, and then took its first lead with a touchdown on its first drive of the second half.

The Cornhuskers ran on their first six plays of the half before Armstrong threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Bryan Reimers to take a 21-20 lead.

Nebraska pushed the lead to 28-20 when running back Devine Ozigbo scored on a 7-yard touchdown with 6:13 left in the third quarter.

Oregon answered with a 75-yard touchdown drive when running back Benoit ran 41 yards for a score on fourth-and-one, but the two-point conversion failed, and the Ducks trailed 28-26. On the previous play, Prukop threw a 26-yard completion to wide receiver Charles Nelson on third-and-27.

Oregon regained the lead early in the fourth quarter when Brooks-James had his third scoring run of the game, a 1-yarder that put the Ducks ahead 32-28 after the two-point conversion failed.
