Vanderbilt 31, No. 16 Georgia 27: Jerron Seymour rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 2:53 remaining to help the Commodores stun the Bulldogs for their first home win against their SEC rival since 1991.

Freshman Patton Robinette passed for 107 yards and ran for a fourth-quarter score in relief of Austyn Carta-Samuels, who suffered a knee injury late in the first half. Jordan Matthews had 11 receptions for 89 yards for Vanderbilt (4-3, 1-3 SEC), which had lost its past 10 homes games to Georgia and 17 of the last 18 meetings overall in the series.

Aaron Murray ran for two touchdowns but struggled on the day he became the SEC's all-time leader in total offense (12,233 yards), completing 16-of-28 passes for 104 yards as Georgia (4-3, 3-2) lost its second game in a row. Murray, who threw an interception on the last play of the game, passed the mark set by Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow (12,232 yards).

The Commodores capitalized on a muffed punt by Georgia when Robinette ran in from 2 yards out to cut the Bulldogs' lead to 27-21 with 10:38 remaining in the fourth quarter. Another mistake by Georgia on special teams — this time a bad snap on a punt — set Vanderbilt up on the 13-yard line, and Seymour ran it in on the next play.

Murray capped the drive in which he broke Tebow's mark by sneaking for a 1-yard touchdown to put the Bulldogs up 10-7 at the end of the first quarter. Vanderbilt regained the lead when kicker Carey Spear ran for a TD on a fake field goal, but Georgia's Shaq Wiggins intercepted Carta-Samuels and returned it 39 yards for the score and Murray rushed for his second TD for a 24-14 halftime lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Georgia RB Todd Gurley missed his third straight game with a sprained left ankle. … The game was televised nationally on CBS, which broadcasted from Vanderbilt Stadium for the first time since 1982. … Georgia DE Ray Drew was ejected for targeting after a hit on Carta-Samuels in the second quarter.
