No. 17 UCLA 41, No. 15 Nebraska 21:
Brett Hundley threw three touchdown passes during a stretch of 38 unanswered points as the visiting Bruins dominated the second half and stunned the Cornhuskers.

Hundley went 16-for-24 for 294 yards and three touchdowns while Jordon James rushed for 105 yards and a score as UCLA (2-0) took out Nebraska for the second straight season. Shaquelle Evans, Phillip Ruhl and Nate Iese each caught a touchdown pass during the Bruins’ 28-point third quarter.

Taylor Martinez passed for 203 yards and three touchdowns while Ameer Abdullah rushed for 98 yards for Nebraska (2-1), which had a four-game home winning streak against ranked teams come to an end.

Martinez controlled the first half, finding Quincy Enunwa for a pair of touchdowns and hitting Kenny Bell with a 22-yard scoring strike to give the Cornhuskers a 21-3 edge with 7:12 left in the first half. The Bruins finally started to put something together on offense late in the second quarter and chopped the deficit to 21-10 at the half on Paul Perkins’ 10-yard touchdown run.

James capped an 89-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown run to begin the third-quarter onslaught. UCLA did not need more than five plays on any of its next three touchdown drives in the quarter and benefited from the defense holding Nebraska without a first down on two straight possessions.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Cornhuskers attempted a fake punt with 1:11 left in the third quarter and came up a foot short of the first down, leading to the Bruins’ fourth touchdown of the quarter. … Nebraska allowed 653 total yards in a 36-30 loss at UCLA last season. The Cornhuskers held the Bruins to 504 yards this time around. … UCLA players wore a patch on their jerseys in honor of WR Nick Pasquale, who was struck by a car and killed while walking in his hometown last weekend.
