Texas-San Antonio 27, Houston 7: David Glasco II ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns as the visiting Roadrunners improved to 4-0 in season openers since starting the program in 2011.

Tucker Carter went 15-of-24 for 121 yards for Texas-San Antonio (1-0), which set a school record with six forced turnovers. Marcellus Mack, one of four Roadrunners with multiple catches, led UTSA with three receptions for 37 yards.

John O'Korn went 22-of-44 for 206 yards and four interceptions before leaving the game with four minutes left and Houston (0-1) trailing 27-0. Deontay Greenberry had six catches for 96 yards and Ryan Jackson rushed for a late touchdown.

Houston's nightmare started early with an O'Korn fumble and a fumbled snap to punter Dylan Seibert that lost 42 yards and set up Glasco II's 3-yard score midway through the first quarter. O'Korn was stopped on a fourth-down run and had two interceptions before UTSA extended its lead on Glasco II's 2-yard score - one play after Seth Grubb pulled in a tough 34-yard pass - just before halftime.

The Roadrunners ran it 11 times during a 13-play drive to open the third quarter, capped by Jarveon Williams’ 11-yard score for a 21-0 lead. UTSA forced three more turnovers and converted two into Sean Ianno field goals.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Backup QB Billy Cosh went 4-of-7 for 30 yards during Houston's late scoring drive, helping the Cougars avoid their first shutout since 2000. ... Texas A&M transfer DE Gavin Stansbury, who started 10 games last year for the Aggies before finishing his undergraduate degree, had a sack for Houston.
