Temple 63, Army 32: Montel Harris rushed for school records of 351 yards and seven touchdowns as the visiting Owls snapped a four-game losing streak in routing the Black Knights.

Harris, a transfer from Boston College, carried 36 times on the day and ran for five scores in the second half as Temple (4-6) tallied more points than it did during the losing skid (54).

Temple, which threw only four passes and none in the second half, tied a school record for points in a game originally set in 1973 against Holy Cross.

Quarterback Trent Steelman broke a long-standing record in defeat for Army (2-9), scoring three touchdowns to bring his career tally to 45. That broke the old mark of 44 held by former Heisman Trophy winner Glenn Davis.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The previous single game rushing high by a running back against Army was 268 set by former Heisman winner Tony Dorsett of Pittsburgh ... Temple closes its season next Saturday against Syracuse. The Owls were slated to play at Hawaii in early December but UH cancelled the game this week. preventing Temple from becoming bowl eligible and getting to six wins ... Army has the next two weekends off before playing for the Commander in Chief's Trophy against Navy next month in Philadelphia.
