Indiana 31, Illinois 17: Stephen Houston scored three touchdowns in the first half and the visiting Hoosiers won for the first time in Big Ten play since the final game of the 2010 season.

Nate Sudfeld threw two scoring passes for the Hoosiers (3-5, 1-3 Big Ten), who broke a five-game losing streak. Indiana hadn't won in the conference since defeating Purdue on Nov. 27, 2010, a streak of 11 games. The Hoosiers were 0-7 in the Big Ten last season.

Illinois (2-6, 0-4) has lost five in a row and 10 straight Big Ten games, dating back to last season. The last conference win for the Illini came against Indiana, a 41-20 victory on Oct. 8, 2011.

Donovonn Young gained a career-high 124 yards on 21 carries for the Illini. Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase accounted for both Illinois touchdowns in the first half on a 2-yard pass to Eddie Viliunas and a 5-yard run.
