Bell caught a 32-yard scoring reception from Taylor Martinez with 13:17 left in the second quarter en route to a 7-6 halftime lead. Maher booted field goals of 19, 51 and 31 yards in the third quarter to boost Nebraska’s lead to 10.

Brendan Gibbons kicked field goals of 52 and 24 yards in the first half for Michigan. His 38-yarder with 42 seconds left in the third quarter pulled the Wolverines within 16-9 before Abdullah (101 yards rushing) scored on a 12-yard run to give Nebraska a 14-point lead with 10:19 to play.
