Montee Ball rushed for a career-high 224 yards and three touchdowns to lead Wisconsin to a 62-17 victory over visiting Purdue on Saturday.

Wisconsin (7-2. 3-2 Big Ten) snapped a two-game losing streak and scored its sixth straight win over the Boilermakers.

Purdue (4-5, 2-3 Big Ten) lost back-to-back games for the first time this season and dropped its 14th straight road game versus a ranked opponent.

Behind a bulldozing offensive line, Ball posted 158 yards and two scores in the first half. He tied the school record (Brian Calhoun, 2005) for touchdowns in a season with his 24th on a 29-yard blast up the middle to start the third quarter.

The lone bright spot for the Boilermakers was Raheem Mostert, who had 206 yards on five kickoff returns.

Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson finished with 204 yards passing and two touchdowns, and added 76 yards and a score on the ground as the Badgers' offense posted 605 yards of total offense.

Purdue quarterback Caleb TerBush passed for 103 yards with two interceptions and a touchdown - a 30-yarder to Crosby Wright.

Wisconsin backup running back James White rushed for two touchdowns in the second half and finished with 73 total yards.
