Aaron Murray threw five touchdown passes during a second-quarter barrage that led No. 18 Georgia to a 63-16 rout over visiting New Mexico State.

The Bulldogs (7-2, 5-1 SEC) held a 7-3 lead with 14:50 left in the half before Brandon Harton scored on a 4-yard run that began a run of 42 points to end the half. Murray completed the surge with scoring passes of 11, 42, 47, 19 and 6 yards, with the final three touchdowns all coming in the final 2:35.

Georgia, which was without suspended leading rusher Isaiah Crowell, amassed 438 yards of offense in the first half. Murray completed 18 of 23 passes for 238 yards before sitting out the second half.

Kenny Turner scored both touchdowns for New Mexico State (3-6, 1-3 WAC) and finished with 94 yards rushing and 127 more on eight receptions. The Aggies fumbled six times on the afternoon, with the Bulldogs recovering two.

Chris Conley caught five passes for 126 yards and a touchdown to lead Georgia receivers. Harton finished with 98 yards on 15 carries.
