Iowa scored touchdowns on all five of its first-half possessions and wideout Marvin McNutt Jr. had a historic day as the Hawkeyes rolled to a 45-24 Big Ten win on homecoming.

McNutt Jr. caught three touchdown passes from James Vandenberg to become Iowa's all-time leader in TD receptions with 24. Iowa (5-2, 2-1 Big Ten) racked up 345 yards in the first half and led 35-14 at the break.

McNutt Jr., who entered the game tied with former standouts Danan Hughes and Tim Dwight, broke the record with a 80-yard catch and run in the first quarter. He finished the game with six catches for a carer-high 184 yards, his fourth 100-yard game of the season.

Vandenberg completed 12 of 16 passes for 253 yards and a career-best four touchdowns while running back Marcus Coker notched his fourth 100-yard game with 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Hawkeyes beat Indiana (1-7, 0-4 Big Ten) for the fourth straight year.

The Hoosiers have lost five straight and have been outscored 145-51 the past three weeks. True freshman quarterback Tre Roberson, who celebrated his 19th birthday Saturday, made his first career start and completed 16 of 24 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown.
