A week after blowing a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter of an overtime loss at Syracuse, Wake Forest squandered most of a 21-point lead before holding on for a 34-27 home win over North Carolina State on Saturday.

N.C. State leads the all-time series 62-37-6 but has lost in its last five trips to Winston-Salem and eight of its last nine. The Wolfpack's last win at Wake Forest was in 2001.

The Demon Deacons led 34-13 after Danny Dembry's 10-yard touchdown run with 49 seconds left in the third quarter, but Mike Glennon quickly brought the Wolfpack back in his second collegiate start.

Glennon hit Tobais Palmer for a 65-yard touchdown before the end of the quarter, and he hooked up with T.J. Graham for a 63-yard score with 5:41 left. But the Wolfpack's final drive didn't even reach Wake Forest territory.

Receiver Michael Campanaro, who had a role in each of Wake Forest's first two touchdowns, left in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. Campanaro caught a 31-yard touchdown from Tanner Price to open the scoring and threw a 40-yard strike to Dembry for the Demon Deacons' second touchdown.

Campanaro had five catches for a career-high 93 yards, topping the mark he set last week with 80 yards on seven grabs.
