Visiting Troy improved to 7-5 and kept its Sun Belt title hopes alive with a 44-7 whipping of Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

The Owls fell to 4-8 in losing their third straight.

Trojans quarterback Corey Robinson hit 20 of 29 throws for 279 yards and three touchdowns. The Trojans are 6-2 in conference play and will win their fifth straight Sun Belt if Florida International loses to Middle Tennessee State on Saturday night.

Wideout Avery Holley shined in the loss, catching four balls for 129 yards and the Owls' only touchdown.
