De'Vion Moore scored on a pair of short touchdown runs as Missouri used a punishing ground game and suffocating defense to overpower Kansas 35-7 in a Big 12 Conference game Saturday at Kansas City, Mo.

Moore scored the game's first and last touchdowns as Missouri (10-2, 6-2 Big 12) bolted to a 21-0 lead en route to the fourth 10-win season in school history.

Despite being denied a chance at the Big 12 North title following Nebraska's win on Friday, the Tigers had no letdown, piling up 218 yards rushing and limiting Kansas (3-9, 1-7) to 141 yards of total offense.

Kendial Lawrence ran for 75 yards on 10 carries, including a 33-yard scoring run that gave Missouri a 21-0 lead less than 90 seconds into the second quarter.

T.J. Moe and quarterback Blaine Gabbert also had short scoring runs for the Tigers. Gabbert was 16 of 26 for 179 yards and two interceptions.

Missouri's defense picked off three passes, including two of freshman Jordan Webb, who was making his first start after sitting out three games with a shoulder injury.
