Colin Kaepernick passed for 251 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another score as No. 18 Nevada trounced New Mexico State, 52-6, on Saturday.

Vai Taua rushed for 111 and a pair of scores and caught a 79-yard touchdown pass while Lampford Mark added 87 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Wolf Pack (10-1, 5-1 WAC), who face their biggest test next weekend when they host No. 3 Boise State.

But Nevada certainly did not get caught looking ahead on Saturday, scoring 24 unanswered points to start the game and taking a 31-3 lead into the break. Taua got on the board first with a 2-yard rushing touchdown and Kaepernick accounted for three touchdowns in the second - passing for two and rushing for another.

The Wolf Pack continued to pile on after the break, with Taua rushing for a 7-yard score and Mark burst 57 yards up the middle for another score. They capped the onslaught when Khalid Wooten intercepted a pass and ran it back 90 yards for a touchdown.

Andrew Manley passed for 220 yards for the Aggies (2-9, 1-6).
