Missouri bounced back from two straight road losses with a 38-28 home win over Kansas State on Saturday, the Tigers’ fifth consecutive victory over the Wildcats.

Blaine Gabbert threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 89 yards and another score for Missouri (8-2, 4-2 Big 12).

Daniel Thomas ran for two touchdowns for Kansas State (6-4, 3-4 Big 12).

The Tigers led 21-14 after a half in which Gabbert hit 11-of-13 throws, including a 25-yard scoring strike to T.J. Moe, and ran for a 33-yard touchdown.

Midway through the third, Tigers defensive end Aldon Smith jolted quarterback Carson Coffman with a blind-side hit, causing a fumble. Jacquies Smith returned it 53 yards for a score.

Coffman rotated with sophomore Collin Klein, who ran for 141 yards.

The Wildcats were done in by three fumbles and an interception.
