Ryan Mallett passed for a school-record 409 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 18 Arkansas rolled at home, beating Vanderbilt 49-14 on Saturday.

Mallett completed 27 of 44 passes, hooking up with Jarius Wright six times for 88 yards and a pair of scores. He also threw a touchdown pass to D.J. Williams.

Knile Davis rushed for 84 yards on 19 carries for Arkansas, scoring on a pair of 2-yard runs.

The Razorbacks' defense got in on the scoring, too, as they sacked Larry Smith for a safety in the second quarter and Jerico Nelson intercepted a Jared Funk pass and returned it 39 yards for a score in the fourth quarter.

The Commodores (2-6, 1-4 SEC) took a 14-6 lead in the first quarter on Smith's 8-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Barden, but the Razorbacks scored 43 unanswered points. The Razorbacks (6-2, 3-2 SEC) scored 26 points in the second quarter to take a 32-14 halftime lead.

Smith finished 5-for-13 for 24 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions. He was sacked three times.

Vanderbilt has lost three straight, while Arkansas has won two in a row since losing at Auburn.
