Blaine Gabbert threw a 38-yard go-ahead touchdown pass to Jerrell Jackson as No. 16 Missouri scored 16 consecutive points in the fourth quarter to upset No. 3 Oklahoma 36-27 in a battle of undefeated Big 12 Conference teams on Saturday night.

Grant Ressel added a 23-yard field goal and James Franklin scored on a 3-yard run to give Missouri (7-0, 3-0) a 36-21 lead.

Gabbert was 30 of 42 for 322 yards.

Landry Jones was 32 of 50 for 301 yards, with three touchdowns and two interceptions for Oklahoma (6-1, 2-1).

Missouri led 17-14 at halftime after Ressel booted a 36-yard field goal with 1 second left in the second quarter.

Missouri’s Gahn McGaffie returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown. Oklahoma countered with Jones’ 27-yard scoring pass to Kenny Stills on its first possession.

The Tigers regained the lead on De’Vion Moore’s 1-yard run early in the second quarter, but Jones answered with a 4-yard touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray.

Oklahoma took its lone lead late in the third quarter when James Hanna caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Jones.

Jackson caught nine passes for 139 yards.
