Tyrod Taylor ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead Virginia Tech past Central Michigan 45-14, Saturday in Blacksburg, Va.

It's the fourth win in a row for the Hokies (4-2, 2-0 ACC), who have rebounded from being upset by James Madison in Week 2.

Central Michigan (2-4, 1-2 MAC) took an early 7-0 lead on Ryan Radcliff’s 23-yard touchdown pass to Richie Hogan. Virginia Tech answered with a 72-yard run by Taylor on the Hokies' first possession. Darren Evans scored on a short touchdown run, and Taylor tossed a 7-yard touchdown pass to Chris Hazley midway through the second quarter to build a 24-7 halftime lead.

The Hokies put the game away with Taylor's second touchdown run of the game and a 68-yard run by David Wilson to put Virginia Tech up comfortably 38-7 in the fourth quarter.

Virginia Tech returns to ACC play to host Wake Forest next week.

Central Michigan will try to bounce back at home against Miami (OH) on Oct. 16.
