Nic Grigsby rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns as Arizona hammered The Citadel 52-6 at Tucson, Ariz., Saturday night.

Grigsby opened the scoring with a 3-yard run in the first quarter and Arizona (2-0) had put the game away by the half.

Grigsby scored again from 1 yard out and quarterback Nick Foles connected with William Wright on a 4-yard score in the second quarter.

The Wildcats led 24-0 at the half and scored again to start the third quarter on a 62-yard run by Grigsby.

The Citadel (1-1), an FCS school, has not beaten an FBS school since 1992. The Bulldogs have lost 22 straight against such teams.

Arizona outgained The Citadel 489-171 in the contest. Foles finished 17-of-22 for 214 yards.

Both Foles and Grigsby, who carried the ball just 11 times, played only one series in the second half.

The Bulldogs were led by Terrell Dallas with 54 yards rushing. The Bulldogs got two field goals by Sam Keeler in the second half to avoid the shutout.
