Arizona quarterback Nick Foles threw for 360 yards and two touchdowns as the Wildcats looked every bit like an upper echelon Pac-10 team Friday night, dismantling Toledo 41-2 in their season opener.

The Wildcats have high expectations this season and the program showed why against the Mid-American Conference’s Rockets.

Foles was impressive in carving apart the Rockets’ secondary, connecting on 32 of 37 pass attempts before giving way to backup Matt Scott.

Foles' top target was Juron Criner, who hauled in 11 catches for 187 yards and a touchdown.

Wildcats running back Nic Grigsby scored twice and had 53 yards on eight carries to help Arizona build a 21-2 halftime lead.

Arizona asserted its dominance to start the second half, scoring on its first possession to make it 28-2.

Toledo was unable to do much against the stout Wildcat defense. The Rockets picked up only 10 first downs and 183 total yards, while Arizona had 520 total yards (413 passing) and 25 first downs.
