Ques Glover scored 21 points and sparked a 22-4 second-half run as Samford hung on and stunned Ole Miss 75-73 on Tuesday afternoon in Oxford, Miss.

Leading 73-72 with 26 seconds left, Samford -- a 15-point underdog -- got two free throws from Cooper Kaifes.

However, a replay awarded a loose ball to the home side with four seconds left after Ole Miss' Jarkel Joiner intentionally missed his second free throw after making the first.

With the Rebels down two, Jaemyn Brakefield drained a long two-point jumper from the corner after two passes, but another review determined the game clock expired with the ball in his hands, giving Samford a win in its first meeting with Ole Miss since the 2002-03 season.

Samford's Jermaine Marshall totaled 13 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out. Jaden Campbell chipped in 13 points.

The Bulldogs (10-2) recorded their fourth straight win and eighth in their past nine games.

After firing 56 percent from the field in Saturday's 76-68 victory over Dayton, Ole Miss (8-4) shot 40.6 percent while Samford clicked off 50.9 percent. The Bulldogs hit 11 of 24 from long distance.

The Rebels' Daeshun Ruffin produced 17 points, with Joiner and Luis Rodriguez adding 15 and 13, respectively.

Brakefield notched 11 points as the Rebels lost for the second time in seven outings.

Brakefield's steal and 3-pointer and an alley-oop dunk by Rodriguez gave Ole Miss a 7-4 lead almost four minutes in, and the tempo picked up when Rebels true freshman Ruffin checked in.

His three-point play on a fake and a layup put the Rebels up 18-10 at 12:48 and excited the small crowd.

Glover's basket cut the deficit to six, and Marshall's layup at 11:03 got the visiting Southern Conference school back in it as it trailed 18-16.

Glover -- a Florida Gator transfer -- delivered a dazzling layup for the Bulldogs' first lead at 8:52, 21-20, but Matthew Murrell's trey and Nysier Brooks' layup put the Rebels back up 25-21 at 7:59.

An 8-0 Rebels run helped them lead 42-36 at the break.

Ruffin's 10 points led Ole Miss, but Samford's 46.4 percent shooting and Glover's 13 points kept it close.
