Clemson 58, Miami (Fla.) 54: Rod Hall notched 14 points and six assists as the Tigers outlasted the visiting Hurricanes in an ACC game.

K.J. McDaniels put up 12 points and nine rebounds and Damarcus Harrison scored 12 points for the Tigers (19-10, 10-7), who picked up their 10th conference win for the first time since 2007-08. Adonis Filer had eight points, and Landry Nnoko provided six points, six rebounds and three blocks.

Rion Brown led all scorers with 21 points and Erik Swoope added 14 points for the Hurricanes (15-15, 6-11), who made 2-of-8 from the foul line in losing for the second time in their last five games. Garrius Adams provided eight points.

Harrison got things started in the second half with a dunk and a 3-pointer, and the Tigers received production from some unexpected places as Filer and Ibrahim Djambo each drilled a 3-pointer of their own to provide Clemson with a 44-36 lead with 10 minutes remaining. McDaniels hit a jumper and Filer converted a three-point play to push the lead to nine before Brown and Swoope scored to make it a four-point game inside the five-minute mark.

Brown's three-point play and Swoope's layup brought the Hurricanes within four points, but Nnoko came up with a huge block to keep it a two-possession game and the Tigers made just enough free throws to come away with a win. Miami was the hotter team early on, making 9-of-12 shots and leading 19-12 at the 11:28 mark of the first half, but a switch to a zone defense by Clemson kept the Hurricanes off the scoreboard for more than six minutes before the teams went into the break deadlocked at 27.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Hurricanes finished the first half 13-of-25 while the Tigers were 10-of-15 on two-point shots, but just 1-of-8 from beyond the arc. ... Filer, who had reached double figures twice this season coming in, was held scoreless in the Tigers' last two games against Wake Forest and Maryland. ... Clemson finished with a 31-23 edge in rebounding and had six blocks to just one for the Hurricanes
