Sean Kilpatrick scored 21 points as Cincinnati stayed undefeated with a 94-58 win over St. Francis (Pa.) on Thursday night. The Bearcats (12-0) are off to their best start since the 2004-05 season, the last time Cincinnati made the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats were 13-0 to begin the 2003-04 season.

St. Francis (2-10) never led and the game's only tie came at 2-2. The Red Flash have lost seven straight games. Chris Johnson led St. Francis with 12 points. Kilpatrick, in his first career start, made 8 of 12 from the field and hit three 3-pointers. Yancey Gates and Larry Davis scored 18 points apiece..

Leading 7-6 early in the first half, Cincinnati went on a 21-2 run to lead 28-8. The Bearcats were ahead 47-21 at halftime.

Dion Dixon, Cincinnati's top scorer averaging 13.3 points a game, scored seven points. Cashmere Wright, the Bearcats' second-leading scorer with a 10.4 average, injured his shoulder late in the first half and didn't return. Wright scored six points.
