Forward Yante Maten dominated the paint and guard J.J. Frazier made plays all over the perimeter, leading Georgia to a 65-55 win over Auburn on Saturday in a Southeastern Conference game at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga.

Maten had 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. Frazier finished with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Bulldogs (13-8, 6-4 SEC).

Georgia had nine blocks in the game.

The Bulldogs led 31-22 at halftime and maintained a double-digit lead for the majority of the second half. Maten hit a jumper that capped an 18-4 run to open the second half and put Georgia in command 49-26.

Forwards Tyler Harris and Cinmeon Bowers scored 12 points each for the Tigers (9-13, 3-7), who have lost five in a row. Auburn has yet to win a road game in the SEC under first-year coach Bruce Pearl.

The Tigers shot 23.6 percent from the floor, including 4 of 28 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Georgia point guard Charles Mann added 12 points and four rebounds.
