Reserve guard Kodi Justice hit six 3-pointers and finished with 20 points to pace five Arizona State players in double figures Saturday in a 98-79 rout of visiting Houston Baptist in Tempe, Ariz.

Guard Tra Holder added 17 points, forward Eric Jacobsen had 16 and forward Obinna Oleka contributed 14 as Arizona State (8-3), won for the fifth time in six outings and notched its highest-scoring game of the season. Forward Willie Atwood added 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the Sun Devils, who shot 49.2 percent from the field, including 12 of 26 3-pointers, and drained 24 of 30 free throws.

Guard Anthony Odunsi scored 16, and guard Asa Cantwell added 13 off the bench for the visiting Huskies (4-7) of the Southland Conference, who fell to 0-5 on the road. Center Josh Ibarra and guard Caleb Crayton added 10 points apiece.

The Sun Devils, who improved to 5-1 at home, led 49-33 at halftime, and the closest the visitors got in the second half was 55-40 with 17:14 remaining before Arizona State slammed the door with an 18-3 run over the ensuing four minutes.

The Huskies did jump out to a 7-3 lead and then led 12-9 before Arizona State scored the next 11 points to take the lead for good. A 5-0 Houston Baptist run closed the gap to 20-17 with 9:25 remaining in the opening half, but the Sun Devils hit 11 of their final 14 field-goal attempts of the stanza and closed the half on a 29-16 run to take the 16-point advantage into the break.

Arizona State played without Savon Goodman, the team's leading rebounder and second-leading scorer, for the second straight game as the junior forward remains out for personal reasons.
