Senior point guard Yogi Ferrell poured in a career-best 38 points and junior forward Troy Williams had 15 points and a career-best 19 rebounds as Indiana raced to a 90-65 victory over IPFW at Assembly Hall on Wednesday.

Ferrell's scoring output was just four points off the Assembly Hall scoring record of 42 by Steve Alford in 1987.

Ferrell and Williams not only set career highs but they shattered their previous bests as Indiana (7-3) shot 51.8 percent from the field, held a 51-28 advantage on the boards and led by double digits for the final 25 minutes.

Ferrell's previous career scoring high was 30 against Illinois. Williams' best rebounding night had been 14 against Northwestern.

Sixteen of Williams' rebounds were on the defensive end. At halftime, Williams had outrebounded IPFW 13-12.

Guard Robert Johnson added 16 for Indiana. Williams had 15 and forward Max Bielfeldt had 11 off the bench.

Guard Mo Evans led IPFW (7-4) with 21 points. Guard John Konchar had 14 points for the Mastodons, who are 0-19 all-time against Big Ten opponents and shot 36 percent in their first meeting against Indiana.
