No. 1 Kentucky 70, Alabama 48: Devin Booker scored 13 points as the visiting Wildcats rolled over the Crimson Tide in SEC play.

Dakari Johnson and Tyler Ulis added 11 points apiece for Kentucky (17-0, 4-0). Willie Cauley-Stein had nine points and five rebounds and the Wildcats made 8-of-17 3-point attempts.

Levi Randolph scored 13 points for Alabama (12-5, 2-2), which dropped to 10-1 at home this season. Rodney Cooper added 10 points as the Crimson Tide lost their second straight game following a six-game winning streak.

Kentucky rattled off 10 straight points to open up a 12-4 lead four-plus minutes into the game and later used a 10-0 surge to take a 31-14 lead on Marcus Lee’s basket. The Wildcats led 35-17 at the break before Alabama scored the first seven points of the second half and later pulled within 39-30 on Ricky Tarrant’s basket with just over 13 minutes remaining.

Kentucky responded to the Crimson Tide charge with 10 consecutive points to push the margin to 19. Johnson’s dunk was made it 68-40 with 4:17 to play as the Wildcats kept up the assault.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Booker was 3-of-6 from 3-point range and has made 20 of his last 28 from behind the arc. … Randolph has scored in double digits 16 times this season. … The Wildcats collected 11 offensive rebounds and held a 30-21 edge.
