No. 1 Arizona 65, Utah 56: Nick Johnson scored 22 points as the host Wildcats remained unbeaten by defeating the Utes in Pac-12 play.

Brandon Ashley scored 11 points and Aaron Gordon had 10 points and 12 rebounds as Arizona (20-0, 7-0) set a school mark with its 20th consecutive victory. Gordon had seven offensive boards and the Wildcats collected 20 overall en route to a 40-29 rebounding edge.

Delon Wright had 19 points, six rebounds and three steals for Utah (14-6, 3-5). Jordan Loveridge added 13 points as the Utes dropped to 0-4 on the road in Pac-12 play.

The Utes had a 47-45 lead with about 11 minutes to play after Kenneth Ogbe hit two 3-pointers during an 8-0 run. Johnson tied the game on a layup and had eight points during a 14-2 burst that saw Arizona take a 59-49 lead with 3:55 remaining and then cruise to the finish.

Utah jumped out to a quick 12-2 lead before Arizona rolled off the next 12 to take the lead. The Wildcats finished the half on a 12-4 burst to take a 31-26 lead into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arizona has won 17 consecutive home games and has a 34-7 mark in Pac-12 play in coach Sean Miller’s five-season tenure. … Utes C Dallin Bachynski had 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. … The Wildcats won 19 consecutive games in both the 1992-93 and 1997-98 seasons.
