No. 23 Saint Mary's 87, Pepperdine 48: Guard Matthew Dellavedova scored 25 points, including five 3-pointers, as the visiting Gaels cruised to their fourth straight victory.

Stephen Holt finished with 13 points and Brad Waldow added 11 points and seven rebounds for Saint Mary's (25-5, 13-2 WCC), which shot 51.6 percent and outrebounded the Waves 47-30.

Freshman forward Stacy Davis scored 12 points and guard Jordan Baker added 11 points for Pepperdine (12-16, 4-11), which lost its third straight game.

Saint Mary's never trailed, jumping out to an early 15-4 lead in the first 7:20 en route to a 36-19 halftime lead.

The Gaels opened the second half with a 13-4 run fueled by a pair of 3-pointers by Dellavedova to increase their lead to 49-23 with 16:20 left, and led by as many as 39 points down the stretch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Saint Mary's hit the 25-win mark for the sixth consecutive season. ... Dellavedova needs three points in Saturday's regular season finale at home against Santa Clara to break fellow Aussie Daniel Kickert's school career record of 1,874 points. ... Forward Mitchell Young grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for the Gaels.
