Power forward Jarnell Stokes stayed hot with 17 points and 10 rebounds and the visiting Volunteers completed a sweep of the Commodores.

Tennessee (13-10, 5-6 SEC) swept its in-state rival for the sixth time in 13 years and won consecutive road games for the first time this season.

Led by Stokes’ 6-of-7 performance in the first half, the Vols shot 53.3 percent to lead 40-28 at the break. Stokes, the reigning SEC Player of the Week, posted his sixth straight double-double and 10th this season.

Jordan McRae added 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Trae Golden scored 12 for Tennessee, which has won four of six.

Vanderbilt (9-14, 3-8) has lost five of six with its SEC-worst offense. Kedren Johnson led Vanderbilt with 11 points and four assists and was the only Commodore to score in double figures.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Vanderbilt has hit the 60-point mark only once since Jan. 23. … Tennessee improved to 3-4 in its last seven visits to Memorial Coliseum. … Vanderbilt shot 37.7 percent from the field and made 3-of-14 from beyond the arc.
