Daniel Miller collected 14 points and nine rebounds and Robert Carter Jr. scored 14 as the Yellow Jackets cruised past the visiting Rams.

Brandon Reed and Jason Morris each added nine points and Mfon Udofia handed out seven assists for Georgia Tech (9-2), which has won five straight.

Branden Frazier scored a game-high 17 points and Chris Gaston had 16 as Fordham (3-10) dropped to 0-7 on the road.

The Yellow Jackets were as their best on the defensive end, holding the Rams to 28.1 percent shooting while also forcing 14 turnovers. They took a 35-25 lead into the half before a brief breakdown at the defensive end allowed Fordham to pull back within 41-35 with 16:47 left.

Following a timeout, Georgia Tech took off on a 21-2 run that pushed the lead out to 62-37. The Rams went 1-for-12 from the field and turned the ball over five times during that spurt.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Yellow Jackets remained undefeated (7-0) at home and have one more game on the non-conference schedule before opening Atlantic Coast Conference play. They host Chattanooga on Wednesday. … Georgia Tech leading scorer Marcus Georges-Hunt was held to seven points on 2-of-7 shooting. … Fordham, which had won its previous game at Siena, has yet to post back-to-back wins.
