Shabazz Muhammad scored a career-high 27 points and Jordan Adams added 25 on 10-of-14 shooting as the host Bruins knocked off the Bulldogs for their fourth straight victory.

Kyle Anderson had a season-high 20 points, a career-best 17 rebounds and seven assists and Larry Drew II recorded 10 assists as UCLA (9-3) shot 58.1 percent from the field while beating Fresno State for the seventh straight time.

Marvelle Harris scored 19 points and Tyler Johnson tallied 16 for the Bulldogs (5-7), who were outrebounded 40-23 while losing their fourth consecutive contest.

Fresno State led by nine points 13 minutes into the game and still owned a six-point advantage with 3 1/2 minutes left in the first half. UCLA closed with a 12-3 run for a 39-36 halftime lead.

A 3-pointer by Adams gave the Bruins a 57-46 lead with 14:09 remaining. Muhammad’s layup made it 70-54 with 8:36 left and Fresno State was unable to make a late run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Adams has topped 20 points seven times. … The Bulldogs were 10-of-17 from 3-point range with Johnson going 4-for-5. … Muhammad has scored in double digits in all nine games since becoming eligible.
