Marshawn Powell scored 20 points and BJ Young added 13 as the Razorbacks cruised to the win at the Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Ark.

Coty Clarke and Jacorey Williams contributed 10 points apiece off the bench for Arkansas (7-4), which came into the week ranked No. 10 in the nation in scoring (82.1). Powell became the 35th Razorback to reach 1,000 for his career - he has 1,001.

Jeremy Crutcher bounced back from a poor first half to finish with a team-high 16 points for Alabama A&M (3-7). Demarquelle Tabb scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half and Green Hill finished with 12.

Arkansas made its first seven field-goal attempts - the last a three-point play by Young - to take a 16-6 lead. They extended the edge to 51-34 at the half and then ran away in the second half.

The Razorbacks also entered the week ranked fourth in the nation in turnover margin (7.3) and 12th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.46). They finished with 22 assists and nine turnovers. The Bulldogs had nine assists and 17 turnovers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Razorbacks schedule one game a year in North Little Rock, which is about 200 miles southeast of their regular home court at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. … Rickey Scott started at shooting guard for Arkansas in place of Rashad Madden.
