Brandon Mobley scored 16 points to lead six players in double figures as the Pirates routed the host Blackbirds.

Eugene Teague had 14 points and eight rebounds for Seton Hall (10-2), which won its fifth straight game while shooting a season-high 58.3 percent from the field. Kyle Smyth, Brian Oliver and Fuquan Edwin added 13 points apiece.

Jamal Olasewere paced LIU Brooklyn (5-6) with a season-high 27 points and nine rebounds. The Blackbirds were outrebounded 34-25 and trailed 48-29 after Seton Hall closed the first half on a 9-1 run.

Aaron Cosby added 11 points for Seton Hall, which set season highs in points scored and field goals made (35). The Pirates host Stony Brook on Dec. 28 before starting Big East action at DePaul on Jan. 2.

The Blackbirds shot 35.8 percent in their third game without reigning Northeast Conference player of the year Julien Boyd, who suffered a season-ending knee injury on Dec. 12.
