Connecticut 88, Fordham 73: Ryan Boatright finished with career highs of 26 points and nine assists as the host Huskies scored a season high in points in routing the Rams.

Connecticut (9-2) set a season-best mark for points in a half in racing out to a 57-28 advantage. The score was tied at 15 with 12:01 to play in the first half when the Huskies went on a 17-2 run over the next 4:39 to take control.

Shabazz Napier added 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in the winning effort, while Omar Calhoun chipped in with 17.

Fordham (2-9) got a career night from Branden Frazier, who scored 26 points, including 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. Chris Gaston was the only other Rams player in double figures with 11.

The Huskies shot 50.8 percent from the field, registering assists on 21 of their 31 baskets.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Fordham reserves combined to score just 17 points between seven players, shooting a combined 5-for-20 from the field. … Connecticut continued to struggle on the glass, managing just 22 rebounds. The Huskies have failed to grab 30 rebounds in each of their last three games. … Fordham has one more game before the holiday break, hosting Siena on Sunday. The Huskies are off for a week before hosting Washington on Dec. 29.
