Providence 79, Colgate 45: Four Friars starters, led by Bryce Cotton's game-high 21 points, scored in double figures as they crushed the visiting Raiders.

Providence (8-2) led by 11 at halftime before allowing Colgate just five points in the first 15 minutes of the second half. The Friars scored 29 in the same span.

Josh Fortune chipped in 17 points for Providence. LaDontae Henton finished with 14 and 10 boards, and Kadeem Batts ended up with 10 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Senior forward Murphy Burnatowski paced the Raiders with 11 points. Freshman guard Damon Sherman-Newsome came off the bench to add 11 as well. Colgate (3-8) shot 6-of-23 from 3-point range.

The Friars were just 4-for-10 from the foul line.
