Vanderbilt 66, Cornell 55:
Kyle Fuller scored 17 points to lead four Commodores in double digits as Vanderbilt turned back visiting Cornell to log its third straight win.

Kedren Johnson, Vanderbilt's top scorer for the season, added 15 points despite sitting the majority of the second half due to foul trouble. Rod Odom added 13 points and Josh Henderson 11 for the Commodores (5-4), whose current streak is a season high.

Shonn Miller paced Cornell (4-6) with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Eitan Chermerinski added 10 off the bench for the Big Red, who struggled terribly from 3-point range. Cornell shot just 17.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 28 of the Big Red's total 60 field goal attempts came from that distance.

Cornell trailed 36-24 at halftime, but after Johnson picked up his fourth foul in the first minute of the second half, the Big Red got as close as 40-38 with 14:18 remaining. Odom responded, hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to push Vanderbilt's lead back to 10 points.

The Big Red pulled back within seven, 52-45, and was still hanging around inside single digits when Johnson made a three-point play at the 1:54 mark to all but ice the win for the Commodores.
