Florida State 63, Louisiana-Monroe 48: Okaro White collected 19 points and 11 rebounds and Aaron Thomas added 17 points as the host Seminoles used a big second half to down the Warhawks.

Thomas went 6-for-12 from the field while replacing the team's leading scorer, Michael Snaer, who dressed but did not play. Freshman guard Devon Bookert came off the bench to score 10. Florida State made 20 of 24 free throws, while Louisiana-Monroe made just 3-of-6.

Louisiana-Monroe (1-6) opened up a seven-point lead with 8:54 remaining in the first half, but a 15-2 Seminole run allowed Florida State to hold a five-point halftime advantage.

Warhawk sophomore guard Trent Mackey led all scorers with 22. Junior forward Jayon James grabbed a game-high 12 boards and finished with six points.
