Washington 75, Jackson State 67: C.J. Wilcox scored 21 points to help the host Huskies put away the pesky Tigers.

Scott Suggs added 17 points and Abdul Gaddy and Aziz N'Diaye had 12 apiece for the Huskies (6-4).

Kelsey Howard led all scorers with 23 points and Christian Williams added 15 for the Tigers (0-8). Howard and Williams combined for eight 3-pointers.

The Huskies used a 14-0 run to build a 27-11 lead midway through the first half but Williams hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark the Tigers, who got within 33-31 after an 18-4 run.

Suggs scored five points in a row for a 51-37 lead with 16:03 left but the Tigers hung around thanks to the 3-pointers. Williams made a pair of 3-pointers late to get his team back within 70-67 with 5:24 left but the Huskies scored the final five points of the game to seal it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington is 4-3 at home this season. ... The Tigers are 0-12 against Pac-12 Conference opponents and Washington is 6-0 against the SWAC. ... N'Diaye and Desmond Simmons each had nine rebounds as the Huskies outrebounded the Tigers 39-30.
