No. 24 Wisconsin 88, Presbyterian 43: Ben Brust scored 22 points on 6-of-9 shooting from 3-point range as the host Badgers throttled the Blue Hose for their seventh straight home victory to open the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational.

Sam Dekker added 16 points off the bench and George Marshall chipped in with 12 points as Wisconsin (3-1) shot 52.4 percent from the field and 43.2 (16-for-37) from beyond the arc.

The Badgers scored 22 of the game’s first 24 points and Presbyterian never threatened, turning the ball over 16 times. Khalid Mutakabbir led the Blue Hose (0-4) with 14 points.

Wisconsin ran out to its pronounced lead 9:54 into regulation behind 3-pointers from four different players. Five straight points by Frank Kaminsky pushed the lead to 36-11 just 7:52 later as the Badgers took a 39-15 lead into halftime.

Three straight 3-pointers from Marshall, Dekker and Brust, followed by Jared Berggren's jumper extended the cushion to 73-25 with 8:53 left.
