Belmont 70, Stanford 62: Ian Clark scored 15 points, backcourt mate Kerron Johnson added 14 and the visiting Bruins ended Stanford’s 10-game winning streak with the upset.

Blake Jenkins added 11 points for Belmont (3-0) and Trevor Noack had 10.

Stefan Nastic and Christian Sanders had 11 points apiece for the Cardinal (3-1), who have had a different player lead the team in scoring in each of their first four games.

Clark sank a 3-pointer with 18:11 remaining to give the Bruins their biggest lead, 41-27, but they went without a field goal for nearly eight minutes. Belmont went 0-for-13 from the field in that span.

After the Cardinal regained the lead for the first time since the first basket of the game, Belmont took it back on Clark's layup with 7:17 remaining. The Bruins then closed the game on a 20-13 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Cardinal finished 2-for-19 from 3-point range. … Nastic made 5 of 10 field-goal attempts, but the remaining starters for Stanford were 13-for-48. … The Cardinal had a 45-31 edge in rebounding, led by junior forward Josh Huestis with 14.
