Florida State 95, Buffalo 68: Michael Snaer led the way with 19 points as the Seminoles rebounded from a loss on opening night to beat the visiting Bulls.

Snaer, who was held to 10 points and missed all six of his 3-point attempts in a loss to South Alabama on Friday, made 4-of-7 beyond the arc against Buffalo. Okaro White added 13 points and Aaron Thomas chipped in 10 for the Seminoles (1-1).

Florida State shot 63 percent from the field and made 6-of-10 from 3-point range in the first half against the Bulls. The Seminoles – led by White’s 10 points – pushed their lead to as much as 21 and settled for a 47-30 halftime advantage.

Buffalo turned the ball over 12 times in the first half, leading to 15 points for Florida State. Tony Watson and Javon McCrea helped bring the Bulls back to within eight points midway through the second half, but no closer.

Watson and McCrea each scored 17 points and Xavier Ford had 16 for Buffalo (0-2), which had 25 turnovers. Watson matched his career high with five 3-pointers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ten players scored in the first half for Florida State and 12 overall. … The Seminoles next play Brigham Young in the semifinals of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in Brooklyn on Friday. … Buffalo is in the midst of six games in 11 days.
