LSU 70, Arkansas 54: Freshman Johnny O’Bryant III came off the bench to post a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds to help the Tigers advance to the second round of the SEC tournament and a meeting with No. 1-ranked Kentucky.

The Tigers (18-13, 8-9 SEC) had four other players in double figures: Storm Warren with 14, Andre Stringer with 11 (eight in the second half), Ralston Turner with 10 and Justin Hamilton with 10. Warren and Hamilton both had seven rebounds. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Tigers.

Arkansas (18-14, 6-11) was led by B.J. Young with 13 points. The Razorbacks had a bad shooting day, making only 19 of 55 (34.5 percent) from the floor.
The game was tied 28-28 at the half, but the Tigers shot 58 percent and had only five turnovers in the second half.
